It reflects the proceedings of the course "Morphe and Inhabitation: the case of Santorini" at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. The educational aim was a by-design-study of the local landforms and their inhabitability. At the same time, it is a study on locus per se, on its authentic characteristics, on its genius loci. In Santorini it is almost impossible to separate landscape from inhabitation, as the formations of its earth merge into one cultural continuum.
